Due to COVID-19 we are looking for volunteers and partners to come forward and help the Local Community Hub. We cannot do this on our own & need your support to help the most vulnerable in our Communities.

We are asking volunteers to have a DBS check or be from one of our trusting partner organisations.

If you can volunteer your time or donate food to the foodbank

Please fill in the contact form below and we will get in touch.

ShipShape Volunteer Programme

ShipShape's Volunteer Programme offers people the chance to support individuals and groups in the local community make positive changes to their own health and wellbeing.

There are always new opportunities coming up as our services evolve and we'd love to discuss your own ideas and aspirations in volunteering too!

It's a great opportunity to make friends, learn skills and gain confidence, as well as making a contribution to the community.

Our volunteers offer 4 hours per week over 6 months, making 100 hours of volunteering to add to your CV and experience.

ShipShape offers full supervision and support together with training.  There will be a certificate and celebration at the end of the volunteering period and ShipShape can also provide volunteers with references.

If you're interested in volunteering, why not come in and have a chat?  Call us or contact us on the form here.

Based in Sheffield, ShipShape work to tackle health inequalities and to empower people  to achieve their own health and wellbeing goals.  We run free and low-cost group and one-to-one sessions, both at our Centre and in outreach venues and develop positive cooperation with partner agencies.
